Vince Zampella, who helped create the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
His passing was verified by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The celebrated industry figure lost his life when his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in LA on Sunday morning, as reported by.
