Ways these Broncos together with their 'play-dough' quarterback could halt that Chiefs' rule.

Week six of the 2025 NFL season

Live coverage includes text commentary of Sunday's games via multiple platforms, starting with the Broncos-Jets clash at Tottenham (from 14:00 BST). Also, radio commentary is available through select stations for another key matchup (beginning at 9 PM BST).

It's week six in the NFL season , following last week's discussion regarding the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles as possible championship contenders, each surrendered their unbeaten records.

Striking during those contests was the amount of penalties both conceded. The Eagles did so at crucial times so they essentially beat themselves having led by two touchdowns entering the fourth period versus the Denver Broncos, who play in London this weekend.

However it was positive to see how Denver quarterback Bo Nix was able to overcome that deficit before direct three successful possessions on three possessions in the fourth quarter, to win the game 21-17.

The Broncos boast the defensive player of the year with CB Pat Surtain II. They are first in goal-line defense, whereas the Eagles lead the league in scoring near the end zone, yet Denver won that contest.

They had the Eagles' number regarding simulated pressure. They weren't necessarily sending more than four pass rushers but they could plug two linebackers in the interior before drop them out and send a slot defender off the edge.

At the start in the campaign, we said on a program how Denver might emerge as this season's dark horses. They finished last season well then excelled of building upon that.

Are the Denver Broncos this year's underdog story?

New tight end Evan Engram has stepped up significantly while recent running back JK Dobbins is a guy they believe in. He now ranks fifth in the NFL for rushing yards (over 400) and tied-fourth in rushing scores (4).

I love how head coach the Broncos' leader displays "RUN IT!" prominently of his playcall sheet.

That shows that the Broncos represent a team that wants to run first, because you can do a lot off the back of that. It slows opposing rushes and keeps you in positive situations.

This has helped quarterback Bo Nix, who entered the NFL as the 12th overall draft pick in the prior draft, throwing 29 TDs – just behind a star QB in rookie records (31 back in 2020).

Josh Allen and Herbert possess powerful arms to pass anywhere, but they don't move in the same way as Nix. He boasts incredible arm talent, which is different, and he's so athletic.

His assets are his mobility, the capacity to throw while moving, and finding varied release points to make the pass when he rolls outside protection, the bootlegs. He is able to throw that layered pass over the middle or over the corner.

As a rookie QB, at 25, he's got a lot of composure in the pocket and isn't really fazed by the blitz. He tries to evade a sack whenever possible and is able throw under pressure. He possesses a high football IQ and is very decisive.

When you constantly run the ball it eats up the clock and makes the opponent to be on the field extended periods, and if you've got a mobile QB the defense must cover the field vertically and horizontally. It can be exhausting.

The quarterback has bitten back at Payton on the sideline at times and it seems the coach appreciates that attitude, that he's a fierce rival. I think it's exciting for him to have a young quarterback that is kind of like moldable clay. He can truly build something up how he desires to build it. I believe it's a unique opportunity for the coach.

The head coach owns a Super Bowl and now surpassed Bill Parcells for career NFL wins (173, tying for 14th). He's seen everything. I think the achievements the Broncos are experiencing offensively is largely down to his leadership, his play-calling, his game sense – and the combination with the QB helps shape him into who he is.

There's no better a better guy in your ear, to help you during some of the tougher situations and build self-belief.

I have faith in Denver's defence, in Bo Nix's tenacity and composure. But are they strong enough to face an elite team at its best? Because that wasn't a Super Bowl performance from Philadelphia in their last game.

Currently, it's unlikely Denver are incredible. They're working better than most, which is a good place to hold their division. The key is to continue this trajectory.

They're really good at leaning into their strength, that is the ground game, and that's precisely what they must do against the Jets at Tottenham. It's going to be a Dobbins-focused game, essentially.

The Jets have surrendered 140 rushing yards each contest (among the worst), five ground scores so far (10th worst), and they're the only team yet to win a game.

Since the league started recording turnovers in 1933, this team are also the first team to be without a single takeaway through five games, this is kind of shocking when you think that the head coach Aaron Glenn a defensive coach at the Detroit Lions.

The Chiefs' QB stated Kansas City are off to a poor start following a recent loss by the Jaguars.

After this Sunday's game, Denver have a manageable slate until their break (in week 12) - the Giants, the Cowboys, Houston Texans and Las Vegas Raiders before the Kansas City Chiefs.

In their division, the Chiefs are 2-3 and the Broncos are tied with the Los Angeles Chargers at 3-2 so they could challenge at leading the West.

It depends on which form of the Chiefs they meet since the Broncos {beat|def
